Activity Log Sheet

September 11th: I met my mentor for the first time. It was a very informative meeting and I had a chance to introduce myself to my future mentor and get informed on the jobs I would be doing in the office.

 September 12th: My real first day on the job was fun as I had the opportunity to file constituent cases.

 September 18th: We had more interesting work as we watched a congressional video on gift giving and other congressional staff rules.

 September 19th: An exciting day at Congressman McCaul's office as we were able to clip out newspaper articles and learn more about his work in D.C and its effects on local constituents.

 September 25th: Today I helped out in Congressman McCaul's office by logging constituents into into their database.

 September 26th: Today Danny and I helped in the office by doing paperwork.

 October 2nd: An interesting day at my placement as I was able to file constituent cases.

 October 3rd: Another day of filing constituent cases.

 October 9th: The government shutdown meant I could not go to my mentorship. I researched the effects of the shutdown.

 October 10th: The government shutdown meant I could not go to my mentorship. I researched the effects of the shutdown.

 October 16th: The government shutdown meant I could not go to my mentorship. I researched the effects of the shutdown.

 October 17th: The government shutdown meant I could not go to my mentorship. I researched the effects of the shutdown.

 October 23rd: Today we cut out newspaper filings concerning the congressman.

  October 29th: An interesting day at my placement as I was able to file constituent cases.

November 6th: Today we called several different constituents to inform them of a local gathering Congressman McCaul would be sponsoring

November 7th: Today we filed papers and reorganized the office supplies

November 13th: Today I helped out in Congressman McCaul's office by logging constituents into into their database.

November 14th: An exciting day at Congressman McCaul's office as we were able to clip out newspaper articles and learn more about his work in D.C and its effects on local constituents.
